Jim Gooch is the president and chief financial officer of Lands’ End, Inc. As President, he oversees the Company’s U.S. and International eCommerce, Outfitters, Third Party and Retail businesses. He is also responsible for overseeing operational and financial functions for the United States, Europe, and Japan.
He brings more than 20 years of experience to Lands' End, demonstrating operational expertise in the areas of information technology, logistics, supply chain, and retail operations, in addition to his financial disciplines. He embodies a value system aligned with Lands' End's core principles of quality, value and service and is committed to driving long-term shareholder value for the company.
Before joining Lands' End, he most recently served as the co-chief executive officer of Demoulas Supermarkets. He previously served as the president and chief executive officer, and prior to that chief financial officer, of RadioShack Corporation from 2006 to 2012. During his tenure as CEO, he successfully negotiated and launched Verizon Wireless in all stores nationwide and expanded the business into international markets. Gooch was also a member of the board of directors of Sears Hometown and Outlet stores, in Hoffman Estates, Ill., where he served as the chair of the board's audit and compensation committees.
Gooch received his Masters of Business Administration from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management in Evanston, Ill. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Michigan State University and earned his certification as a Public Accountant in the state of Michigan in 1990.
